Hip hop and traditional styles combined to reflect on social, political and environmental issues.
Dance Theatre Night is a theatrical form that takes in hip hop and traditional styles to talk about issues affecting different communities in Uganda and worldwide — using the power of dance to reflect social, political, economic and environmental concerns.
It takes place during the Batalo annual dance festival, and at one-off events organised by Batalo East at the National Theatre and in communities.
