The 11th Edition of Batalo Dance Festival 2025 featured the Kuhamahama Arts Movement Book Launch, a groundbreaking publication documenting the cultural richness of Bunyole culture in Butaleja District.
Launched on 13th December 2025 at Batalo East Creative Center, Kachonga – Bufujja Town Council, Mumayinja, Butaleja District.
The book explores:
- Old to New — a changing African society and culture
- Bunyole musicians, music and dances
- Local instruments
- Clan heads and spiritual leaders
- Cultural myths, stories and historical practices
- Batalo East's fusion approach to preserving and reimagining culture
